Being in the hospital made me realize how human I am. It is so easy to be tired, so easy to forget that patients wait for hours to get their concerns addressed, so easy to lose patience after a long day. We enter medical school with lofty ambitions of wanting to be good and caring doctors, but how easy it is to get jaded along the way.
