Physiology kills. It's the second week and we've already finished blood and respiratory system, so one can imagine how fast lectures are going. But it's a little more interesting that anat, just that it's alot harder to follow and keep up with.
Med school's crazy. It's like chasing wild geese, for lack of a better analogy. Everything's so fast paced, and we have to keep up with all the lectures and prepare for tutorials and read up before hand. It takes alot of discipline, which I'm still trying to find.
It's hard to reconcile the fact that CAs were just last week and we're already studying for the next CA which is in 5 weeks time.

We had our first thorax tutorial with FV today. He's one who strongly believes that anatomy cannot be learnt segmentally, and proceeded to talk about cranial nerves (in the head), special senses, vertebra, the pericardium, the abdomen, and somehow or another the limbs. It's good for consolidatory learning, but when you barely know what nerves and vessels run through the thoracic cavity, it's like being taken on a roller coaster ride.
Having said that, I don't like his tutorial style but he's undeniably very nice and knowledgable so. Tahan.

Anyway, I finally made a trip to UHC to check out my eyes. Turns out I really do have conjunctivitis and can't wear my lenses for 2 weeks, and the antibiotic eyedrops are especially irritating >.<
But it's friday, and I get to book out :D
