Back in Malacca for CNY (: Hopefully this will be a meaningful one although neuroscience is still weighing heavily at the back of my mind.
Visited NJ earlier this morning with some of the IP peeps, I felt the same wave of nostalgia that I get everytime I visit although it hardly looks like the NJC that we entered back in 2005. It was nice though, chasing after teachers just to ask how they were doing, walking amongst a sea of grey feeling terribly old, queueing up for Milo, crashing the CNY concert and talenttime to watch a K Pop male group of dancers haha!
It's been 6 years, though it hasn't seemed that long. We're all so different now although you spend so much time struggling to get past university and keeping some semblence of a social life that I've hardly realized it. I miss NJ much, even the smallest crazy things like buying shuidan without rice, climbing the long flight of stairs every morning, or having my classmates remind me that I was the worst PE student ever lol.

These 2 weeks have been so... nice. Other than attending lectures in the morning and trying my best to keep awake, I have done nothing academic related at all despite the rising toll of webcast debts. Spent the afternoons doing silly things like shopping for 21st presents, frequenting Ikea, baking carrot cake cream cheese cupcakes and chocolate cheesecake brownies yum, running in the rain without umbrellas haha, and just keeping up with the lives of friends. I wish it could stay like this for a little while longer but after CNY it means a jerk back to reality and the library sigh. It was great while it lasted though (:
