The past few days have been really eventful.
So surreal, remembering how I trembled when making my speech during elections, and taking out the tiara during handover ceremony and instinctively thinking of Cokes, Queen Cokes and Avvy smearing cake all over my hair.
Never in my wildest dreams would I have thought I would be the next president of Western Dance.
I do admit, I'm scared.
But whatever happens, I remember what our seniors say.
It's an awful lot of resposibility, but we have our passion, our love for Western Dance, and our support for each other.
It will keep us going. I have faith in this EXCO, that we'll be able to lead Western Dance to greater heights (:
Thank you Western Dancers for this oppurtunity, for believing and having faith in me, and in us.
I hope we won't let you down.
To our seniors, thank you for all you've been to Western Dance. For being role models, pillars of support and people we could look up to.
I'll miss you.
So goes the 2-month long journey as EXCO elects.
A new chapter for all of us.
I finally know the true meaning of responsibility.
