Yesterday was our last SYF.
It went pretty well, we ended up covering ourselves in alot of glitter, and we were sneaking around the school by secret passageways so that we wouldn't be seen in our over-ly attention-grabbing costumes (:
Our full-out run went pretty well. For once I had no qualms about smiling my teeth off. The atmosphere felt pretty good and I left on the bus feeling quite satisfied and hopeful.
Thank you IP2s, Zhang and Stanley for taking care of our makeup and what-nots, and thank you to everyone who came down. Thank you for your little notes, and hugs, and your words of encouragement. It really helped to calm my nerves (:
I was honestly freaking out before we went on stage. I think we were all really scared. But once we went on stage I could only think of trying to smile.
The run was pretty okay, although we felt we could have done better.
But we smiled. We smiled like there was no tomorrow and we showed the world how pretty we could be (:
That was SYF for you.

After that, and the very blessed chance to wash the glitter and gel off ourselves, we went for dinner at Fish and Co., the glass house (:
Thank you Mr Ho!
Seafood Platter, pasta, gigantic mugs of Sea Monkey :D
I love this dance group very muchly (:

Our results were out today. I'm really very very proud of Western Dance.
Because you know that your blood and sweat, your passion and love, your effort and commitment, are worth so much more.
IPs, I'm really really proud of you (:
I'm proud of how you've worked so hard to come up with something out of nothing.
And you should be proud of yourselves too (:

JC SYF team!
I'm really happy, and I want to say thank you.
Thank you for being my motivation to go for dance, thank you for being so bonded, thank you for your encouragement and concern.
I will remember all that we've gone through; the massive unreasonable scolding sessions, the eating of BeeBee, the moaning at blisters, the many co-ordinating sessions, the gossiping, the prep talks, the stand-and-smile-at-each-other-like-you've-never-smiled-in-your-life sessions.
I'm glad I was a part of all this (:

Thank you to all of you who have given us so much so support during this SYF period, especially to Ms Oon and Mr Ho who've talked us into having hope when we lost faith, and to the rest of the Western Dancers who've been there (:

We went for a dance lunch at Swensens'.
It's quite a crazy sight to see so many dancers bingeing on healthy servings of ice-cream and fried food.
1+1=0! ;)

I feel so fortunate to be a part of this CCA.
Western Dance, thank you (:
